Beltane Acupuncture Happy Hour & Sound Bath
At the halfway point between the spring equinox and summer solstice, we honor the fertility of the season to come. Let's honor this important day in our yearly cycle together.
Come receive a gentle acupuncture treatment and be guided in a meditation to root into your own potential and celebrate the season of light.
During your treatment, experience the restorative power of healing frequencies to align with your most natural self with Sound Healer Charlotte Collins.
_____________
The happy hour is not only relaxing and healing, it is also a great way to connect with your most natural self.
We will begin with a short description of how acupuncture and shamanism work with the natural cycles of the planet, and specifically the energy of the current point in that cycle of Beltane.
The specific acupuncture treatment that everyone will receive will support you in connecting with the emergence of your own Fire, as the hard work of winter and spring give way to warmth, authentic self-expression, and soulful connection.
Once everyone has received the treatment, I will guide the entire group in a meditation to help you come into alignment with this magical day, and Charlotte will play music to support you in your own alignment.
The floor is very comfortably padded, and there are also cushions, backjacks, and chairs available so you will have ample options to create a very comfortable environment for yourself.

Many of us who are socialized as women or identify as femme have experienced the constant preoccupation with the size and shape of our bodies, often in ways that deeply affect our lives. The quest for harmony and joy in our relationship with food and our bodies can feel daunting and isolating.
Healing begins when we come together in community to share our stories and experiences.
This intimate in-person support group is specifically for cis women, trans women, and femme-identifying non-binary individuals who have struggled with body shame, body dysmorphia, and/or a challenging relationship with food. It is for those who are currently navigating these patterns, as well as those who have encountered them in the past and wish to revisit and heal on a deeper level.
Over 6 weeks, we will engage with somatic, vocal, and ritual practices as pathways to healing, resourcing, and transformation. You will have the space and support to be fully seen by the group, with a focus on providing tools for nurturing a healthier relationship with food and your body. Together, we’ll engage in story-sharing and ritual work to release shame and trauma and reclaim a sense of peace and ownership over our bodies.
This container is for you if:
You are cis woman, trans woman, or femme-identifying non-binary person*** who has struggled with body shame and/or a difficult relationship with food.
You currently struggle with these issues or have a history that you would like to revisit and heal on a deeper level.
You want to use holistic, somatic, and ritual modalities to address the underlying issues in your behavior & beliefs.
You are learning how to express your truth and you have the courage to be witnessed in that expression.
You understand that the issues we face in our bodies are reflected in cultural sickness, in the repression of feminine wisdom and power over centuries, and our separation from a sense of belonging to the Earth – and you are tired of carrying these old stories in your soma.
You know that healing happens in community and we are not meant to do it alone.
This container is NOT for you if:
You identify primarily with masculine energy (please note – I know that men and masc-identified folks ALSO struggle with this. Know that I see you and I intend to grow into holding spaces for your healing.)
You are in a critical condition of disordered eating. (If that is the case, know that I have no professional therapeutic training in this field, and please seek immediate professional support elsewhere)
You would feel safer doing this work in individualized 1:1 space. Know that I also offer 1:1 mentorship in this work.
You are looking for a quick fix in relationship to your body image.
You are deeply uncomfortable being witnessed by a group.
You understand these issues as primarily behavoiral and you are not interested in underlying energetic/systemic/ancestral/somatic contributors.
